Banjo & Bovril is an annual Trad and Folk Music Festival that takes place at The Harbour Bar, Bray. The Banjo & Bovril Festival is a revival of an old tradition Paul O’Toole Senior pioneered years ago; when short winter days were ended in the bar with a bit of banjo playing, some steaming cups of hot Bovril and a plateful of cheese and crackers. Over the past five years the festival has welcomed Mick Flannery, The Eskies, Ye Vegabonds, Mundy, Old Hannah, David Keenan, Paddy Casey, Bunoscionn, Caoimhín Ó Raghallaigh and Crooked Jack to name a few. This year’s 2020 festival will feature: Junior Brother, Bunoscionn, The Scratch, Anna Mieke, Mules & Men, Robert John Ardiff, John Francis Flynn, Aoife Nessa Frances, Sound of Sirens, Fintan McHugh, Fanacanta, Candlelit Tales
