The Harbour Bar are delighted to welcome back the popular, Candlelit Tales for an eve of (socially distanced) irish storytelling.
We have been apart for so long, and we have been telling stories online. The fabric of our society was torn as we were removed from one another. Although necessary, we are social creatures and need to stare into the eyes of each other once in a while to remember we are alive. We are together. Even when we are apart.
After a few months in the otherworld listening intently to the stories and trying not to tap our feet to the music, we are back. This will be a little different as we try to stay safe. We will need everyone to be mindful of the directions given for social distancing and timekeeping etc.
We are telling stories again at our home from home in the Harbour Bar, with all the precautions and social distancing in mind, and we ask you to be mindful and respectful if you wish to attend.
Lughnasa marks the start of the harvest, so let’s come together in small numbers, and online, and celebrate with stories from long long ago.
Doors open 8, with show starting 8.30 sharp.
