Scott Williamson, Dublin based singer songwriter has been working on his craft for the last four years. Graduating from BIMM Dublin, 24 year old along with his band ‘The Wild Cards’, blend Americana Folk Rock vocals with Pop elements creating a unique sound that stands out within the Irish music scene.
Born into a musical family, Scott’s love for storytelling manifested into the musician he is today. Inspired by some of the great story tellers of the rock scene, such as Tom Petty, Bruce Springsteen and Ryan Adams, Scott’s ear for melody and rhythm lends itself to his music, creating catchy hooks and lyrics that people will find hard not to relate to. Scott’s last two singles from his debut EP ‘You and Me’ shows his versatility and lyrical artistry, and the musicianship of an artist whose skills are beyond his years.
Forming in BIMM Dublin, Scott and his band The Wild Cards have proactively been expanding their fanbase gigging across the country in venues like The Button Factory, Whelans, The Sugar Club, as well as The Academy supporting artists such as singer-songwriter Tyler Hilton (One Tree Hill, Walk The Line) and Charlie Simpson (Busted/Fightstar).
Scott and The Wild Cards released their first single ‘Give Me Something’ in August which hit #1 on the iTunes Rock Charts on the first day and has peaked at #27 on the overall download charts so far.
