Irish music contenders ready to break through in 2019

Lemoncello are Laura Quirke and Claire Kinsella.
Harmonious vocal melodies simply accompanied by cello and guitar, lend a sincere and honest rootsy sound. Borrowing from wide range of influences, traditional and alternative, the duo create an immersive experience through a dynamic expression of lyrical story. Their writing weaves their personal insights of human nature & behaviour with the imagery of the contrasting modern and natural world that surrounds them.
Their debut EP “Stuck Upon the Staircase” was released in 2018, earning radio play on acclaimed stations such as RTÉ Radio 1, BBC Radio Ulster, as well as a television appearance on BBC 2 NI.
They followed this with a successful tour of intimate venues around Ireland, and an array of Irish festivals over the year including Body and Soul and Other Voices. They have supported Irish folk heroes Damien Dempsey and Mick Flannery, and are currently collaborating and touring with David Keenan. Their second EP is due for release in 2019.
